St. Mary Lake
Due to population growth and the growing demand for lakefront real estate, development pressures have spread to remote corners of the Columbia watershed including outlying areas such as St. Mary Lake near Kimberley, B.C. This development has the potential to degrade the ecological and recreational values inherent within lake systems and result in negative impacts to riparian and aquatic ecosystems. The maps and reports below inventory the important features of this lake in order to understand and wisely manage its values.
